Learn 3-Card Poker Strategies
If you want to pass the test, you have no alternative but to study. This simple rule applies to just about everything in life, including to any kind of gaming. No sensible casino gaming enthusiast would enter into a game without having studied its ways and means, and its strategies. This includes players of 3-Card Poker. However, by following just a couple of simple tactics, you as a player can increase your chances of winning large payouts.
Playing 3-Card Poker to Win
3-Card Poker actually comprises two games: Pair Plus and Ante & Play. In Pair Plus, the player aims to match the cards in his or her hand with winning combinations posted on the Poker table; these are pre-determined by the gaming institution. In Ante and Play, on the other hand, the player competes against the dealer for the strongest hand of cards. The player may choose to play either or both of these games in one round. It is often the case that the player that selects to play both games at the same time has a higher likelihood of winning in the end. It works thusly: if the player has a pair of 7s and the dealer has a pair of 9s, then the player wins Pair Plus, as he or she does have a pair. However, at the same time, the dealer wins Ante & Play, as his or her pair is higher than that of the player. However, if the roles were reversed, the player would win both Pair Plus and Ante & Play in the same round.
If you choose to play both and you have a hand such as three-of-a-kind, you will win even more. The payout for a Pair Plus game is an astounding 30:1, while in Ante & Play, the player stands a chance to win both the ante and the play bets.
